THE REGION II COACHES PROGRAM IN COOPERATION WITH THE OLYMPIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (BOYS & GIRLS) IS CONDUCTING A COACHING SYMPOSIUM AT BOWLING GREEN STATE UNIVERSITY, BOWLING GREEN, OHIO.  THE PROGRAM WILL BE HELD INDOORS AT THE UNIVERSITY FIELDHOUSE, BEGINNING MARCH 5TH AT 5:30 PM, THROUGH THE MORNING OF MARCH 7TH.  THIS REGIONAL SYMPOSIUM IS BEING JOINTLY SPONSORED BY REGION II, adidas, OHIO YOUTH SOCCER ASSOCIATION-NORTH AND OHIO SOUTH YOUTH SOCCER ASSOCIATION IN COOPERATION WITH BOWLING GREEN STATE UNIVERSITY.

All the Region II states are encouraged to invite: 
Directors of Coaching (Boys and Girls)
State Team Coaches (Boys and Girls)
District Team Coaches (Boys and Girls)
Select Club Coaches (Boys and Girls)

The registration fee for the full event, including the Saturday night dinner (Ron Wigg Awards Banquet) is $80.00 if the payment is received by February 6th at 5:00 pm.  Registration is $90.00 for all other advance registrations, received after Feb. 6th and before March 1st.   Registration at the door is $100.00.  You may deduct $10.00 if you do not wish to attend the dinner.  Advance Registration Participants will receive T-shirt compliments of adidas.  NO SHIRT WILL BE PROVIDED FOR THOSE REGISTERING ON SITE.  The fee includes symposium, educational materials, The Ron Wigg Awards Dinner and Saturday box lunch.

The  Regional age group coaches and assistants are expected to attend.  This opportunity to bring together the coaches of our region should not be missed.  Creating an understanding of the direction and the needs of our area is vital to its progress.  A special session for State Directors of Coaching only will be held on Friday afternoon.

REGISTRATION WILL BE FROM 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at OLMSCAMP HALL LOCATED ON RIDGE STREET.  OLMSCAMP HALL IS LOCATED NEXT DOOR TO ANDERSON ARENA AND ACROSS THE STREET FROM OAK GROVE CEMETARY.  YOU SHOULD PARK IN LOT “N” FOR REGISTRATION AND THE OPENING SESSION.   IF YOU MISS FRIDAY’S REGISTRATION, YOU MAY REGISTER ON SATURDAY FROM 8:00 AM TO 9:30 AM AT THE FIELDHOUSE ON MERCER RD.  THE PARKING LOT FOR THE FIELD HOUSE IS ADJACENT TO THE BUILDING ON MERCER.

Participants are responsible for their own transportation, accommodations and meals during the symposium, except for the box lunch and the  Ron Wigg Dinner.
